Outgoing contract with Linköping.

Nilla Fischer is negotiating a new agreement – and looking ahead.

– It is extremely tempting to try to be part of the fight for a place in the national team, says the 37-year-old.

After 1-0 against Ireland in the World Cup qualifiers on Thursday, Scotland is waiting on Tuesday for Blågult in a training international match.

Nilla Fischer, 37, jumped into the final stage against the Irish women and the day before the match, the experienced midfielder took a place on the podium – to answer the question of how she sees her role in the national team today.

– There has been extremely high competition for midfielders for many years, I do my best at home and here to start, like everyone else. If I do not start, I am ready to support and get in, as most recently when I strengthened up back there. If I start, I’m there to do my best as one of the eleven who get to start. That’s probably how I see my role, to be able to participate and compete to start and participate in the collections, she says.

“No new situation”

Fischer continues:

– The difference is that I have started for many years, the situation as it is now is not new to me. Since I was injured in 2019, I have been competing for a starting place and there I have more often ended up on the bench than before. I think it’s extremely fun to play football and do everything I can to be here and support, but also to perform.

When Sportbladet spoke with Linköping’s club director, Frida Andersson, earlier on Monday, Andersson said that LFC would very much like to keep Fischer – and that “the signals are that the midfielder himself would like to stay”.

The agreement thus expires after the season, where two rounds remain.

Fischer has, as she has previously said, on the other hand, already begun to think about what she wants to do after her career – when it now ends.

– I have tried to think about that for a long time, I do not know what will happen. It is possible to have your own dog boarding house or similar. We will see if dreams become reality or if it becomes a completely different profession.

“I think it will be difficult”

Dog boarding?

– I love animals and I love dogs. In my pink dream, which may not be grounded in reality, it is always sunny, warm and nice to go out with the dogs, you can have all the dogs loose and they walk freely in the forest. That’s not the case, it does not work, but at my dog boarding house it does, haha.

Mittbacken was also asked if she can consider retraining as a coach after her last match.

– You should never say never, but I feel that the head coach is not something for me immediately after my active career. I think it will be difficult to be close to a team, I think it will be too hard mentally to be close to football without playing. But the future… who knows. I love football, maybe you can be an individual coach or something.

In keeping with the rocketing increase in Tesla shares after good Q3 figures and a billion-dollar deal with Hertz, SpaceX’s space plans are also making headway: On Friday, Elon Musk’s space company fired the vacuum for the first time on the Texan test site in Boca Chica -Version of a Raptor engine, built into the latest Starship upper stage SN20. It was ignited twice for two to three seconds each time, once alone, once together with a non-vacuum engine. The special feature of the vacuum version is the longer nozzle, which, thanks to its larger diameter, can accelerate the escaping gases in the vacuum even more. In rocket technology, one speaks of a suitable “relaxation ratio”.

Test brings Starship orbital flight closer

So far, the Starship upper stage has only been used in test flights in the lower atmospheric layers. Due to the comparatively high external air pressure, there is no point in having a nozzle that is too long there, as the accelerated gases have to flow against the external pressure. In the future, however, the Starship upper level will start on the lower level, the Super Heavy Booster. It takes the upper stage with 33 normal Raptor engines to a height of a few dozen kilometers, then separates to land. The upper stage then ignites its three vacuum-optimized Raptor engines to reach Earth orbit. When returning to Earth, the upper level uses three raptor engines for braking and landing in the deeper, denser atmospheric layers.

The successful engine test feeds the hope that the entire Starship will soon be able to embark on its first orbital flight. As early as August, SpaceX had put the upper and lower stages together on a trial basis to form the world’s largest rocket with a height of 120 meters. Then the FAA reported that they had presented an environmental review paper to the public. The first hearings have already taken place. Musk’s call for support apparently had an impact – many people came from outside Texas to advocate a quick completion of the environmental review and an early take-off permit.

But local residents in particular also expressed clear concerns about as summarizes the Spaceflightnow website. It was about environmental and nature protection as well as about the resettlement of people and the conversion into Elon Musk’s planned “Starbase City” with the consequence of higher land prices. The nearby town of Brownsville was popular because of the economic development opportunities that SpaceX is creating.

Musk is hoping for FAA approval to launch

The FAA will continue to receive comments through November 1st. Then the authority wants to decide whether to complete the environmental assessment and issue a start permit, possibly subject to conditions. But it could also begin a new, more extensive environmental review – in which case further major delays in Starship development would be expected. In any case, SpaceX plans to carry out further engine tests in the coming weeks, up to and including the final test of all 33 engines in the lower stage. Should it all go smoothly, Elon Musk announced the orbital flight a few days ago on Twitter for November. But the SpaceX boss remained realistic and also wrote: “Depending on the approval of the authorities.”

Faced with the surge in energy prices and the question of the measures to be taken in order to reduce the bill and not jeopardize the economic recovery after the Covid-19 crisis, the Twenty-Seven are appearing more and more divided. In the short term, they all know that Europe can do nothing and that only actions at national level are possible. Moreover, nineteen of them, including France, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy, have already decided to reduce taxes and various subsidies. In the longer term, however, they do not share the same diagnosis. The Council of European Energy Ministers, Tuesday, October 26, once again highlighted these divisions between three camps. And it is difficult to see on what ground a compromise could be built.

Today, the price of electricity is indexed to that of back-up energy sources, which prevent any disruption of supply, that is to say, most often, gas-fired power stations. or charcoal. France, which derives 70% of its production from its nuclear power plants, or Spain, which has invested a lot in renewables, want this price to include, in one way or another, the cost of production – less high in their case – from the country where it is made.

Fuel distribution was halted on Tuesday, October 26, at around noon at all service stations in Iran, state television said. “Due to disruptions in the computer system, the distribution of fuel to service stations across the country has been interrupted”, thus affirmed the same source.

First unidentified, this general blackout is in fact due to a cyberattack, said the highest security body in the country shortly after. “The Supreme National Security Council confirmed that it was a cyberattack against the computer fuel distribution system”, state television reported. “Details of the attack and its origin are under investigation”, added the same source, without further details.

Official channels showed gas stations closed as queues lengthened. “An urgent meeting is held at the Iranian National Petroleum Products Distribution Company to resolve the problem”, also declared his spokesperson, Fatemeh Kahi. In Tehran, technicians from the petroleum ministry took the computer system of a few gas stations offline to dispense fuel manually, television reported later in the day.

“No plan to increase the price of gasoline”

From the start, “Officials concerned” had not ruled out that it could be a cyberattack, evoked by Iranian social media. Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi, however, had preferred to ensure that the interruption was “Due to a technical problem which will soon be resolved”.

Conservative news agency Fars has linked the blackout to the anniversary of November 15, 2019, when violent protests erupted in Iran after news of a sudden rise in gasoline prices. The government “Has no plan to increase the price of gasoline and people shouldn’t be worried”, promised Mr. Vahidi, questioned by the public broadcasting.

In July, a cyberattack had already crippled the country’s rail system and sparked scenes of « chaos », wrote then The Times of Israel. In addition to train delays and cancellations, hackers disseminated erroneous traffic information messages, calling on users to contact a number – which turned out to be the office of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders have already been associated with adverse pregnancy outcomes like low birth weight and preterm birth. And now, a new Michigan Medicine study finds that they may also be linked to significantly higher rates of first time cesarean deliveries among women who were otherwise at low risk of having one.

“Our findings reinforce the importance of better identifying and treating perinatal depression and anxiety disorders in pregnant women,” said senior author Vanessa Dalton, M.D., M.P.H., obstetrician gynecologist at University of Michigan Health Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital.

“It’s critical to better understand how these mood disorders increase the likelihood of cesarean section deliveries, which we know have both short and long-term health consequences for both expecting moms and their babies.”

Researchers analyzed national data for 360,225 delivery hospitalizations among commercially insured women ages 15-44 during the decade between 2008 and 2017, with 24% including a first-time delivery by cesarean section. The findings appear in Health Affairs.

The study is among the largest to document a link between predated mood and anxiety disorders and first-time c-sections among low-risk pregnant women. Previous research on this relationship is limited, often including patients who had previous cesarean deliveries — one of the most significant predictors of a repeat c-section — or who may not have already been diagnosed with a perinatal mood disorder.

Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders affect as many as one in five reproductive-age women in the United States, and the prevalence of these disorders more than doubled between 2006 and 2015 among childbearing women in the U.S. The prevalence of suicidal ideation and intentional self-harm in the year before or after a birth also rose during that time period, with suicide being a leading cause of maternal mortality.

“There’s been growing recognition that mental health is really important during the time of pregnancy,” Dalton said. “Maternal suicide risk is especially high the year following delivery.”

Anxiety and depression have numerous other negative consequences for women and their children, Dalton said, including adverse birth outcomes, higher rates of maternal morbidity, and lost earnings.

Estimated costs of untreated perinatal mood and anxiety disorders also exceed $14 billion in the U.S. from conception through the first five years of a child’s life and may affect the long-term use of health care resources for both women and their children, authors note.

Caesarian section risks

Reducing the rate of first-time cesarean sections is a Healthy People 2030 goal in the U.S. endorsed by numerous public health and professional societies.

Like any major surgery, cesarean deliveries come with several associated risks, including blood clots, hemorrhaging, infection and risks to future pregnancies. Most women who undergo a cesarean section for their first birth will go on to have a repeat cesarean section.

“Cesarean sections are a major contributing factor to maternal morbidity events after a delivery with many adverse downstream effects,” Dalton said. “We need to understand all factors that may increase a woman’s chance of a c-section delivery so we can avoid any unnecessary risks.”

Authors note that the Healthy People goal is to reduce caesarians by 2.3% — and that about women with a prenatal diagnosis of anxiety or depression had a predicted probability of having a cesarean section that was about 3.5% higher than women without anxiety or depression.

Women with these disorders were more likely to be older, be White, and reside in a household with income more than 400 percent of poverty compared with those without perinatal mood and anxiety disorders

While reasons for the relationship are speculative, there have been unproven theories, including a notion that prenatal anxiety is sometimes focused on the delivery itself — which may prompt providers to turn to cesarean to reduce the labor process. Others have theorized that maternal distress may affect placental development, which in turn may impact symptoms of fetal distress during labor that could prompt a caesarian section.

But none of these speculations have been proven and further studies are needed to gain insight on the association, Dalton said.

“We need more research to clarify the relationship between perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and primary cesarean section rates to enhance our understanding of the consequences of these disorders for health outcomes,” she said. “This could potentially inform efforts to develop and evaluate effective treatments and policy interventions.”

Because of “Hong Kong’s National Security Law, which makes it impossible for human rights organizations to operate freely and without fear of serious reprisals from the government,” Amnesty International will be leaving Hong Kong. The organization, Nobel Peace Prize winner in 1977, announced Monday, October 25, that it would close its local branch at the end of the month and then, at the end of the year, its office for South Asia. -East-Pacific, which is also in the city.

“The recent targeting of local rights groups and unions is a signal of an intensified campaign by the authorities to rid the city of dissent. It is increasingly difficult for us to continue working in such an unstable environment ”, justified, in a statement, the president of the international office of the NGO, Anjhula Mya Singh Bais.

On Tuesday, Carrie Lam, Hong Kong’s chief executive, said the law still guarantees freedom of association. According to her, those who invoke the national security law to end their activities “Cannot prove” that it is because of this that they make this decision.

Entered into force on June 30, 2020, the National Security Law, imposed by Beijing, severely punishes any offense considered by China to constitute secession, subversion, collusion with foreign forces or terrorism.. “The environment of repression and perpetual uncertainty created by the law on national security makes it impossible to know which activities could lead to criminal sanctions”, deplores Amnesty International.

Financing problematic

Over 70 people, many of the city’s most prominent pro-democracy activists, have been indicted under the bill, most of them simply expressing now illegal political views.

In July, the first Hong Kong man tried under the new law was sentenced to nine years in prison for riding a motorbike at a police officer while waving a flag bearing writings considered subversive.

A second defendant was found guilty on Monday October 25 of “secession” for chanting slogans such as: “Liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our time!” “ Jailed for ten months, the young man, the first person to be sentenced for a non-violent offense against national security, will serve his sentence later. He faces seven years in prison. National Security Law trials take place without a jury and before magistrates specially selected by the government.

You returned to Mladá Boleslav for work after twenty years. How big did the local club record?

When I left, there was a meadow on the site of the athletic oval, the second league was played on the current first training area, instead of the artist there was slag and we went to various places in the city to train. The club has played European cups several times, the sporting shift is huge, as is the one in terms of club infrastructure. It is necessary to appreciate how the club has moved forward in these areas.

Why did you decide in June, shortly after leaving Slavia in Prague, to accept an offer for the head of the academy in a Central Bohemian city?

Based on the management audit, it was concluded that many things are not working as they should. Representatives of the club approached me with an offer of cooperation. We agreed that things needed to be done with greater intensity and also with the necessary efficiency. We have brought new coaches, we have a project to expand the rehabilitation of youth, the background of changing rooms and also the support of women’s football. In secondary schools, we want and need to renew sports classes, which have always belonged to the pride of Mladá Boleslav football. We have prepared a concept of connecting the training program with other sports such as judo, athletics, gymnastics and more. We want to be a natural leader within the region, to have a positive effect on the development of football and education. We organize seminars for coaches from lower competitions, we have open trainings, we prepare tournaments.

What are your ambitions as the head of the academy?

The first ambition is, of course, to educate complex players who will be able to make a name for our A-team and who will have the necessary parameters for transfers to larger clubs and abroad. We also want to support dual careers so that the boys are able to succeed in life, have the necessary education and perhaps once return to the system in other positions, such as coaches, physiotherapists, analysts or marketers when their football career does not work out. And then, of course, there is the ability to predict the possible development of football and thus be able to direct boys aged ten or twelve and prepare for football, which will be played in five or seven years, when they grow into adult categories.

Is it realistic to achieve cooperation with foreign clubs, for example within the group of your main sponsor?

We hope so. We try to take advantage of the fact that Škoda Auto is a multinational company. Therefore, we would like to establish cooperation with Wolfsburg. I think it’s directly offered. I believe that it is possible to achieve internships between coaches or the best players in the youth, to organize joint tournaments. In addition, we are already establishing contacts with interesting foreign clubs today and we also have one interesting idea here, and that is to base our vision of cooperation on the blue-and-white club colors.

Will you be able to experience in Mladá Boleslav from the Slavia Academy in Prague, where you finished at the end of the spring part of the season? Or is the environment so different that it can’t be connected?

It turned out that an interesting project can be created relatively quickly. We have had tangible results in five years and Slavia is already benefiting significantly from it. I am sure that we are able to create a similar project as in Eden and that the same quality academy can be established in Mladá Boleslav. Each environment has its own specifics and we will try to make the most of the benefits offered by our environment for working with talented players, we will want to focus on working with detail, support individuals and also the journey to the league should be faster than this is the case for large clubs. I believe that we will be able to be original in certain areas and yes, I realize that we have a very demanding job ahead of us and we will not get anything for free or it will change from day to day.

Jarolím: I expect more goals from Škoda, young Fila has a killer instinct

Will the plans not be jeopardized by the fact that you also became the sports director of the first team in Mladá Boleslav?

I see it as a great opportunity to combine everything into one functional system. It should not be the case that A is living his life and the youth is cut off. The academy will be a natural support for the activities of the A-team. Yes, every match is important from many points of view, but the concept, vision and our primary goals must be clearly stated in the club. Otherwise, we will always stay in the circle and we will experience such a Czech color over and over again. Therefore, we hire a nutritionist, fitness expert, physiotherapy, launch important projects at the regional level, seek foreign confrontation, establish contacts with experts from around the world, who bring new data and information to set up the right training process and look for progressive methods for player education. etc…

But the current results of the first team do not add much to you.

It is clear that the results are important for the system to be stable. But I repeat, we need to set up a longer-term concept with clear parameters and points of reference. We said where we want to be in three or four years. In addition, I have no doubt about the strength of the ac. It just needs time to play after a series of changes.

Is the direction related to a certain stagnation, when Mladá Boleslav vacated its position in cup Europe or its vicinity?

We want a stable club that will be one of the better in the Czech Republic. Play with offspring, perform attractive football and produce players who will be attractive and able to respond to the demands of the times.

Is it possible to combine both roles? Will the youth project not suffer from your involvement?

My interest in youth and related projects does not shift into the background, on the contrary, it is a great opportunity for all of us to do things in a connected, systematic and with the necessary overlaps. Of course, some individuals in the whole system will get even more responsibility and will need to work even more as a team, but even here it is a clear philosophy, where we need to have coaches in the system, workers who are able to take over and bear the necessary co-responsibility for creating the system. it is important to have and develop creative personalities here. We will divide it so that we do not lose momentum. It is not and cannot be built on one person.

Will it be an effort to apply a unified style from the first team to the last youth team?

It doesn’t have to be a uniform style. The point is to educate players with a profile and character ability to succeed in the biggest of football, so that the boys are able to play more game systems. There is no point in saying that we want to play like Ajax or Barcelona when we know that our role and position are completely different.

During the holidays you almost moved to Prague’s Strahov. You were to become the sports and technical director of the FACR. Why did the cooperation end in the end?

At the beginning of the summer, when the offer appeared, Mladá Boleslav was willing to consider my release. The offer pleased me, it was in a way an appreciation of my work and it deserves to thank Peter Fousek for addressing me, I appreciate it. However, three FACR executive committees took place during the summer, but not once was there a vote to fill the position. In the meantime, the position in Mladá Boleslav changed, there were some personnel changes and I did not want to leave for strength. I believe that the word should be kept and that we should respect the principles of good behavior and mutual respect in society.

Did you feel unwanted at Strahov when none of the three executive committees voted on your cast?

The European Championships were taking place and there were probably other things that were given priority. I didn’t push anywhere, I didn’t offer myself anywhere. I was approached by the union and did not want to be part of the behind-the-scenes pressures. I perceived it as an acceptable person for Czech football. But it is clear that the behind-the-scenes aspects of the occupation or non-occupancy of the position played a role and will always play, unfortunately often to the detriment of the actual development of Czech football.
