Donne birmaneA seminar for Latin American journalists on the MDGs was jointly organized by UNDP, the Municipality of Montevideo and IPS Latin America with the support of the Italian cooperation agency. The seminar was opened by Ricardo Ehrlich, Montevideo Mayor, and Conrado Ramos, Deputy Director of planning and budget of the municipality.

Among keynote speakers were Pablo Mandeville, resident UN Coordinator and UNDP Representative in Uruguay, Patrizia Sentinelli, Italian Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Joaqu
