IPS TerraViva is playing a leading role as a news provider and communication focal point for civil society on the occasion of the Third High-Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness, as Ministers from over 100 countries, heads of bilateral and multilateral development agencies, donor organizations, and civil society organizations from around the world gather in Accra with the common objective to help developing countries and marginalized people in their fight against poverty by making aid more transparent, accountable and results-oriented.

IPS TerraViva joined forces with GCAP, Transparency International, Interaction, CIVICUS and Better Aid to cover the CSO Parallel Forum on Aid Effectiveness, Accra, Ghana, 31 August - 01 September 2008. And in partnership with UNIFEM and the African Woman and Child Feature Service (AWCFS) to cover the Third High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness, Accra, Ghana, 02 September - 04 September 2008.

IPS TerraViva has selected a team of journalists from Chile, Cuba, UK, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone and South Africa to cover both events and distribute printed copies of the newspaper amongst participants in Accra and it is also available online at IPS TerraViva Accra 2008 and IPS TerraViva CSO Parallel Forum on Aid Effectiveness.

This special coverage includes an array of columns and exclusive interviews.
