28 September 2007 - UNDP and IPS are please to announce the results of the first “Latin America and the Millennium Development Goals” Journalism Award. The winners were selected among 466 submissions by an international jury of five prominent personalities from the region’s cultural and communications fields.

IPS Latin America is fully implementing the MDG project supported by UNDP. The project envisages the production of MDG related stories, translation to Portuguese, English and other languages produced by IPS to be later distributed globally through its wire.
