IPS Africa was awarded The Africa Media Prize EXPO MILAN 2015 at the recently concluded Expo Milano 2015 International Participants’ Meeting that took place from October 10 – 12.

The award, presented during the Communication session of the International Participants’ Meeting, recognizes IPS Africa for its capacity to voice the opinion of African communities regarding development issues. It was awarded jointly by EXPO and Afronline, an IPS partner.

In receiving the prize, IPS Africa Director, Kudzai Makombe recognised the hard work of IPS Africa’s stringers, who number over 150 in all regions of Africa, IPS editors and IPS Africa’s hardworking team. “It is a well deserved prize.
